A compilation of recordings from 2014-15.

A couple nights before I left Chicago, I was physically and emotionally exhausted from all the preparations for the big move back home to Pennsylvania. It would be the first big step towards moving to be with my family in Israel and eventually into the military.

Somewhere between two and four in the morning my roommate Sam gave me a final push of motivation to sit down with Hazel, my new Eastman E20-OO, and record all the instrumental pieces I'd been slowly grooming over the past two years. With the final words of encouragement being something like; "if we don't do it now, we never will," I sat down on our poorly upholstered sofa and she set up her recording equipment.

In the months to follow, I filled in the gaps with a few simple recordings I did from home.

I've pinned very dear memories to each track making the soundtrack to my move across the world, leaving behind all the family, friends and places that had a hand in raising me and building the person I am today.
